How we hire at Steeze:
12-minute intro screen
A quick call with the founder to confirm basics: your background, portfolio links, comp expectations, and availability. Short and straight to the point.
Trial micro-task
A small, 2–3 hour trial task that mirrors real Steeze work (e.g. build a small Shopify integration, design 3 Figma screens, create a week’s content calendar, edit a 30s reel). This lets us see how you think and ship.
Final founder interview
A deeper 30–40 min session to review your task, discuss product challenges, and align on culture fit. This is two-way — you’ll also ask questions about Steeze.
Offer within 10 days
We move fast. If you’re the right fit, you’ll receive a written offer (contract terms, milestones, compensation, and start date) within 10 days of your intro screen.

Early equity path
Perform well during the MVP sprint and you’ll have the chance to convert to a full-time role with equity — building alongside the founder, not just working under one.
Hybrid Lagos, remote exceptions
We’re based in Lagos for collaboration and speed, but exceptional Africa-based talent can work remote.
